The story of New Century Ophthalmology begins with Dr. Vinod Jindal, whose passion for ophthalmology led him from India to the United States. After completing his surgical retina fellowship and ophthalmology training in both countries, he established the practice in Oxford, NC. Driven by the desire to bring cutting-edge care to underserved communities, Dr. Jindal introduced advanced treatments and technologies long before they became standard elsewhere.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Sumeet Jindal expanded the practice to Raleigh, bringing his expertise in oculoplastic and anterior segment surgery. Together, they have cultivated a practice rooted in innovation, inclusivity, and an unwavering commitment to patient care.
